Kathleen KYE’s designs are all about fun. After all, her first collection was inspired by a dream in which she was being squeezed by King Kong’s hand. Based in London and Seoul, KYE’s mission is to inject a playful attitude into menswear shapes and to avoid the trap of seriousness in everyday dressing. For FW13, the result is a unisex collection that takes classic biker shapes, transforms them into perfectly oversized styles that incorporate elements of neoprene, leather, fur, and sherpa, and breathes a welcome freshness into modern streetwear.
